But life takes us on some amazing journeys.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeople can relate to my story because everyone is going through bad times.  We all have fights, some less visible than others, but with a positive attitude, determination, and a smile these fights can be a little easier. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Hopefully I will inspire others to show that if I can recover after 7 operations and move on, others can get through their difficult times.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Vanessa spends her time sharing all elements of life, mostly related to motorcycles, and also does charity work by offering free workshops for British teenagers. <\/p>\n<p>She uses her recovery to engage young minds and talks about resilience, goal setting and dealing with the pressures of life. <\/p>\n<p>Given that Motorcycle TV&#8217;s Peoples Awards received a record 100,000 votes, it&#8217;s clear to say that Vanessa is an inspiration to women and men alike. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI&#8217;m on a mission to prove to myself that I can still do it, and I hope this continues to encourage others to stand up and take life by the horns.
