The upcoming Endeavor electric motorcycle from Kawasaki is equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission. <\/b><\/p>\n
Kawasaki announced its plans to introduce electric and hybrid two-wheelers as part of its future plans to introduce vehicles that run on alternative fuels.<\/span><\/p>\n Hiroshi Ito, president of Kawasaki Motors, said the company plans to launch ten electric and hybrid two-wheelers by 2025. This includes not only roadworthy models, but also off-road motorcycles. The number will increase significantly, and more electric bicycles are planned by 2035.<\/p>\n Kawasaki has already released details on its upcoming Endeavor electric motorcycle. the <\/span>The EV prototype was presented at EICMA 2019 and is equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission. The production version will have the same manual transmission as the company believes it offers a wider speed range and also allows the rider more input in operating the bike. While the body of the prototype is being removed from a Kawasaki Ninja 300, expect the production motorcycle to look different.<\/p>\n The hybrid models, on the other hand, could be part of the company’s range of services, either the superbikes or the touring bikes. <\/p>\n At the moment, Kawasaki has not clarified whether the upcoming electric and hybrid bikes will be built from scratch or whether current ICE models will be adapted to these environmentally friendly drivetrains. <\/p>\n Nonetheless, Kawasaki has made its future mobility intentions loud and clear.
