However, the Triumph Trident 660 has revived the smaller triple, and now we&#8217;re getting the 2022 Triumph Tiger Sport 660. The Trident is a capable sports bike, and the new Tiger Sport 660 brings the platform to the world of adventure touring. This is a purely street motorcycle with adventure styling that includes a little more travel and a higher seat height to improve your view of the world while touring or at work.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><strong>The Tiger Sport 660 gets the same engine as the Trident and the same melody. <\/strong>That means an identical 80-horsepower peak at 10,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 47 ft-lbs at 6250 rpm.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><strong>Touring Bona Fides come from integrated brackets for panniers. <\/strong>Although the side cases are an accessory, the Tiger Sport 660 comes from the factory with brackets integrated into the rear subframe. That&#8217;s why Triumph has fitted the Tiger Sport 660 with a pair of tires that can handle bad weather.  When senior editor Nic de Sena <a href=\"https:\/\/ultimatemotorcycling.com\/2018\/02\/23\/michelin-road-5-review-sport-touring-motorcycle-tire-test\/\">tested the Michelin Road 5<\/a> Rubber, he was impressed with the performance of the tires in wet and dry conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li><strong>Showa takes over the suspension with long travel.<\/strong> The Showa chassis of the 2022 Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is on the base side.  The fork is not adjustable, although of the opposite beliefs with cartridge internals.  The damper enables remote hydraulic adjustment of the spring preload and adjustment of the rebound damping.
