{"id":4819,"date":"2021-10-08T10:30:01","date_gmt":"2021-10-08T10:30:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/advwisdom.com\/a\/motorcycle-sales-growth-amid-pandemic-3\/"},"modified":"2021-10-08T10:30:01","modified_gmt":"2021-10-08T10:30:01","slug":"motorcycle-sales-growth-amid-pandemic-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/advwisdom.com\/a\/motorcycle-sales-growth-amid-pandemic-3\/","title":{"rendered":"Motorcycle sales growth amid pandemic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Total sales for the period from January to the end of September 2021 were 86,239 units, an increase over the corresponding period of the previous year of 6,616 motorcycles, scooters and off-road vehicles with a result of 79,623.   <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This steady growth of 8.3 percent compared to the same period in 2020 shows us that there is strong demand from buyers who want to use a motorcycle as their first choice for their daily commute to work and for leisure,&#8221; said FCAI- CEO Tony Weber.<\/p>\n<p>Racing bikes recorded an increase in sales with 26,119 units sold in the first three quarters of 2021.  This corresponds to an increase of 2.2 percent or 563 units compared to the first three quarters of 2020 with 25,556 units sold.<\/p>\n<p>Off-road motorcycles recorded remarkable growth with 35,120 units sold in the first three quarters &#8211; an increase of 10.5 percent compared to 2020.<\/p>\n<p>OHVs have continued their growth from last year and now make 21,590 units sold.
