One of them is Scram 411, a street-oriented version of the Himalayan. Scram 411 is expected to launch in India later this year or early next year. The new motorcycle’s test mules were spotted on the streets. Here is a new video showing a Scram 411 in disguise. The video was uploaded to his by Bullet Guru Youtube Channel.

In the video we can see that Scram 411 is done in red. It is called scram because it is a scrambler version of the Himalayas and shares many of its components with the Himalayas. From the spy video we can see some of the changes the Scram 411 is bringing across the Himalayas.

Also read: Royal Enfield Classic 650: How It Will Look

It will use a one-piece seat instead of a split setup that the Himalayas use. It also has a smaller front wheel. We’re assuming it should be an 18-inch or 19-inch while the Himalayas use a 21-inch front wheel. It still runs on spoked wheels so they aren’t tubeless. The front is very different from the Himalayas, as a windshield and fork gaiters are missing. The scram looks a lot cleaner and less busy than the Himalayas.

The fuel tank also looks a little different. In addition, the frame for the canisters mounted on the fuel tank has been removed. It is now getting a traditional fender instead of the raised fender we saw on adventure tourers or off-road motorcycles. Where Himalayan sees function more than form, Scram could potentially appeal to a larger audience due to its conventional design.

It seems like Royal Enfield is using a different instrument cluster for the scram. This is possible because the Himalayan’s instrument cluster is quite large, but it can be easily hidden behind a windshield and Scram now has no windshield so there is no place to hide the instrument cluster. For this reason they use a different instrument cluster. It seems like the instrument cluster is borrowed from the Meteor 350 as we have a dual pod design that is very similar to the Meteor instrument cluster.

Meteor has two circular units in the instrument cluster. The left one is bigger, it has the analog speedometer and a multi-information display in it. The display is supplied with fuel gauge, clock, service reminder, gear indicator, odometer and trip meter. The right display is smaller and may come with a Tripper navigation module. Tripper connects to the Royal Enfield application and can show directions to the destination that you type on your phone. If the navigation does not work, it shows the time.

The LED taillight and turn signals are the same as on the Himalaya. The raised exhaust and the engine are also borrowed from the Himalayas. The engine is an air-oil-cooled 411 cm³ engine, which offers a maximum output of 24 HP and a maximum torque of 32 Nm. It is coupled with a 5-speed gearbox.

Also read: Get to know “Kush”, a specially built, track-ready KTM RC390 from Rajputana Customs

Royal Enfield is working on many new motorcycles.
