Classic Legends is working to bring back the Yezdi and BSA brand. They’ve already revived Jawa and the new brand is doing pretty well ahead of the established Royal Enfield. Recently 2 new Yezdi motorcycles were spotted. There is a scrambler and a new adventure tourer. The motorcycles were spotted on the Mumbai-Pune highway by Abhijit Patil and Shreya Patil.<\/p>\n

The scrambler is said to be called Yezdi Roadking, while the name of the adventure tourer is not yet known. Yezdis Scrambler will compete against the upcoming Royal Enfield scrambler \/ roadster motorcycle and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250. The Adventure Tourer’s biggest rival will be the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the KTM 250 Adventure.<\/p>\n

In the video we first take a look at the Adventure Tourer. It has high handlebars and a fairly upright triangle. It also has a raised exhaust that we normally see on these types of motorcycles. It seems like a rear rack has been mounted behind the seats and there are also saddle rails covered with cardboard. So we can expect Yezdi to offer some touring-based accessories.<\/p>\n

The front wheel looks bigger than the rear wheel. There is a high chance the front wheel measures 21 inches. The motorcycle runs on spoked wheels, so the rider cannot enjoy the comfort of tubeless tires. The front suspension can be given long spring travel to cope with the off-road terrain.<\/p>\n

There is also a tall windshield to protect the driver from the gust of wind. Fork gaiters were also installed and there is a beak-like fender that we see on off-road motorcycles and adventure tourers. The braking tasks are carried out by a disc at the front and rear. It is not clear whether the motorcycle uses an LED headlight or a halogen headlight. The taillights and turn signals are small circular units.<\/p>\n

Then let’s take a look at the Yezdi Roadking. We can see that it has a more scrambler-like design. The seat is flat and has a roadster design. There are upright handlebars and the riding triangle seems comfortable for the rider. It also has fork gaiters and an additional mudguard. The exhaust has a more conventional design. The front tire is also smaller than on the Adventure Tourer. It also gets disc brakes and spoked wheels.<\/p>\n

Both bikes could get the same engine that we saw on the Mahindra Mojo and Jawa bikes. It is a 300 cc single cylinder engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The engine achieves a maximum output of 27.3 HP and a maximum torque of 27.05 Nm. It is coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission.<\/p>\n

Classic Legends could use the larger 334 cc, liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine that we saw on the Perak. It has a maximum output of 30.64 hp and a maximum torque of 32.74 Nm. It’s also paired with a 6-speed gearbox. Considering the touring characteristics of the motorcycle, the larger engine appears to be a better choice for the adventure tourer.<\/p>\n
