North Lanarkshire police and township officials have come together to “solve growing problems caused by people who ride quads and off-road motorcycles” across government territory.<\/p>\n

They jointly launched Operation MotoX, where the local government funds new motorcycles that will be used to reinforce mobile patrols and reach areas where the vehicles will be used to talk to drivers.<\/p>\n

Officials have also used the new bikes in finding high-risk missing persons and combating youth disorder incidents since receiving the new equipment, funded by the North Lanarkshire Local Development Program.<\/p>\n

Chief Superintendent Alan Waddell said Lanarkshire Live<\/a>: \u201cWe will not accept the danger associated with the illegal use of off-road motorcycles and quads on public footpaths, parks and streets.<\/p>\n
