The replica model is purpose-built and derived from feedback from KTM&#8217;s Dakar winners, featuring components that provide the performance level directly requested by these rally raid champions. The transmission has the same gear ratios as the Dakar Rally winning bikes of the Factory Racing team.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The 450cc SOHC fuel-injected engine received an increase in power for model year 2019, which carries over to the 2023 model as well.  KTM has not provided horsepower numbers after the power boost but for reference, the 2016 450cc rally bike <a href=\"https:\/\/www.advpulse.com\/adv-bikes\/ktm-450-rally\"><strong>we tested<\/strong><\/a>  pumped out a claimed 68 hp. <\/p>\n<p>This is a machine that is ready to race straight out of the crate.  The bike&#8217;s superiority comes from a series of state-of-the-art components that accentuate its racing spirit.  Chief among those is the advanced WP XACT PRO suspension that provides the ideal balance between acute feel, traction and consistent performance. A Pankl transmission is of the same spec as the one used by Red Bull KTM Factory Racing, and the use of a compact chrome-moly steel frame also comes straight from the race team&#8217;s spec.<\/p>\n<p>Ergonomics are tailored for competition, giving the rider the closest connection possible to both the bike and terrain while putting ability and stability at the forefront.  This is considered the most ready-to-race machine currently on the market.
