Promotion off-road riding, competitive racing<\/h2>\n

Honda Philippines, Inc., (HPI) the No.1 motorcycle manufacturer in the country, continues its commitment to sharing the joy of mobility, this time by providing different models of its popular CRF series to the country’s first motocross school.<\/p>\n

Through a new partnership with JMS Motocross School, headed by its namesake, Filipino motocross legend Coach Jovie Saulog, this project aims to help support the growth of the Philippine On\/Off-Road segment.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverything we do at HPI revolves around the single idea of \u200b\u200bsharing the joy of mobility. We hope that through this partnership with JMS Motocross School, more people will discover the value of that principle by experiencing the excitement of off-road riding in a safe environment,\u201d said Honda Philippines Inc. MC Planning Department Manager, Hervic Villa.<\/p>\n

Honda takes pride in its rich history in off-road motorcycles, from the 1970s-era Elsinores, through the XRs of the 1980s and 1990s, to the post-millennial CRF models. As part of the partnership with JMS Motocross School, HPI will be turning over the CRF150L and CRF300L models as training bikes for those who want to learn off-road riding. Meanwhile, for those more inclined to competitive motocross racing, there’s the CRF250RX and the CRF450R Works Edition that students may use.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe CRFs are the best bikes for starters, veterans, amateurs, and professionals,\u201d says Coach Saulog. “I have been using Honda CR125 and CR250 since the two-stroke days in 1985, and the CRF250 and CRF450 \u2014 the start of the Honda four-stroke \u2014 in 2002 up to now.”<\/p>\n

An icon in the Philippine motocross circuit, Coach Saulog has been involved in the sport for more than three decades. He started teaching motocross in the 1990s and established JMS Motocross School as the first of its kind in the Philippines.<\/p>\n

The school caters to off-road riders both for competitive racing and leisure riding. JMS Motocross School also fields a racing team that remains active in competitive and invitational events all over the country. Coach Saulog has handled students who went on to become national and international champions.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are a lot of good motocross riders in the Philippines, making motocross a very competitive sport,\u201d he says. “You can improve your skills and riding using a CRF by enrolling to JMS-Honda Motocross School.”<\/p>\n
