Wishaw community police officers have been targeting the illegal use of off road motorcycles and quad bikes as part of Operation Moto X due to reports of their anti-social use.<\/p>\n
The use of these vehicles on the road which in terms of the relevant road traffic legislation also includes footpaths, football pitches and other areas to which the public have access is illegal.<\/p>\n
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: \u201cAnyone identified by police as being involved in the illegal use of these vehicles will have them seized and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.<\/p>\n
