Ongoing complaints surrounding ‘nuisance’ off-road motorcycles have prompted high-visibility police patrols.
Weymouth & Portland Police responded to the complaints by deploying a ‘Rhino patrol’ in the Littlemoor area.
The Rhino is an off-road vehicle used by Weymouth & Portland Police for patrols in hard-to-reach areas and in searches for missing people.
Police began the high-vis patrols in response to a number of reports surrounding off-road bikes “causing a nuisance” and said the patrols would continue.
