Motor Vehicle Theft / CDS Violation – Glen Burnie

At around 9:00 a.m. on September 19, 2021, officials responded to a report of a shed burglary that stole two off-road motorcycles in Block 7600 of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie. During the investigation, officers received information that resulted in a Chevrolet pickup truck being stopped on Holloway Road in the area where the break-in occurred. The officers found one of the stolen motorcycles, a green 250cc Kawasaki, in the truck. Three inmates were arrested and charged. One of the inmates, Young, was in possession of seven capsules of suspected heroin / fentanyl and 34 vials and three sealed jars of suspected cracked cocaine. Gun Injury – Severn

At approximately 1:55 a.m. on September 19, 2021, an officer conducted a traffic check on a silver 2004 Toyota Corolla on Annapolis Road and 20th Street in Severn. As he approached the vehicle and spoke to the driver, the officer noticed the smell of marijuana coming from the vehicle. The investigation resulted in a search of the vehicle, which resulted in the confiscation of a loaded 19mm Glock 17 pistol and a small amount of suspected marijuana. The driver was arrested and charged accordingly.

Tampering with cars – Severn

At around 10:00 a.m. on September 17, 2021, officials responded to multiple reports of vehicle tampering in Block 900 on Reece Road in Severn. The whistleblower said he had seen an unknown black suspect walking through unlocked vehicles. The officers found owners of six vehicles who said their vehicles had been entered and ransacked. Gun Injury – Annapolis

At around 2:15 p.m. on September 20, 2021, officers at Extended Stay America at 1 Womack Drive in Annapolis to get a report on an armed object. Officers arrived and found the suspect, who was in possession of a loaded .22-caliber Mossberg 715T rifle, an unloaded .38-caliber Smith & Wesson 38 Special, 227 rounds of .22-caliber ammunition, and 14 rounds of .38-caliber ammunition was. The suspect was banned from possession of firearms or ammunition and had three pending arrest warrants. He was arrested and charged accordingly.
