Two men were arrested and five off-road motorcycles confiscated after a reckless New Year’s Eve tour of Auckland.

Inspector Jacqui Whittaker said many cyclists and riders had to dodge to protect themselves from the group, none of whom had a valid bicycle license.
Whittaker said many drivers were also extremely aggressive towards the police and one patrol car was damaged.
The two arrested men are charged with driving bans, reckless driving and driving without a license.
