We have a . made available A little taste of the Honda Africa Twin 2022 range as early as August when the European models were presented. Now, American Honda tells us what we get on this side of the Atlantic, as well as the prices for all four variants. There aren’t many changes so this won’t take long.
- All four versions of the Honda Africa Twin 2022 return. There is the standard model and the Adventure Sports ES variant. DCT editions are available for both versions, making four models available. The main differences between the Standards and Adventure Sports ES are suspension and fuel capacity. We tested the previous Honda Africa Twin Adventure Sports ES.
- Honda has updated the DCT programming of the models with this feature. We love the Africa Twin’s dual clutch transmission, and Honda is constantly refining the performance of its automatic transmission. This year, Honda is focused on improving shifting in the lower gears.
- The tour-oriented Adventure Sports ES gets a lower windshield that offers more wind protection. Honda wanted to make it easier to see across the screen. However, the shape has been refined, resulting in more wind protection. If you want, Honda offers a bigger screen as an option.
- You can transport freight more easily on the Standard Africa Twin 2022. The standard version is geared towards on-road and off-road performance, but that hasn’t stopped Honda from giving the stock Africa Twin the rear loading platform that was previously exclusive to the Adventure Sports ES.
- Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now available for all four Africa Twins. The connection is made via cable or Bluetooth.
- The Africa Twins are all getting a modest price increase of $ 100. You don’t get a lot when it comes to color choices. The standard Africa Twin is only available in Grand Prix Red (with a lot of black) and the Adventure Sports ES models are only in Pearl White (although it looks like white / blue / red to us).
