Police officers have helped young people in Catterick Garrison understand how to be safe and in control of their off-road motorcycles.
Working with children and young people between the ages of 13 and 19 years old, RAMP is a project run by volunteers.
The diversionary scheme works with youngsters who have an interest in motorcycling.
Attendees often attend a RAMP course following recommendation from schools, youth groups, police or social services.]
Traffic Constable Mark Hutchings, who is one of the motorcyclists from the Road Safety Team, who works on the project.
He said: “Educating children and young people about how to stay safe when in control of a motorcycle is a critical part of our to reduce casualties and make our roads safer for all users.
“RAMP is a great way to engage with children and young people who have an interest in motorcycling because we can talk to them in a fun environment and provide real life and real-time examples of risks.”
