I stop to help other motorcyclists who need assistance. If I throw two fingers at passing drivers, I’m telling them I’m behind them. Even when I’m in my car, I stop to offer help when I see a stranded driver. In all my years off-roading, the most common help I’ve given has been gas. It features four 24-inch triple-stitched straps with friction buckles, as well as an over-the-top strap to keep the fuel or water tank firmly in the holster. The four straps offer plenty of flexibility to attach the bottle holster.
The position of the straps allows a metal bottle to be secured firmly against a frame member or hung like a spider web. The long straps allow real flexibility in any installation position. I mounted it on the back end of the seat, the open space between the saddlebag mounts and the rear, and on top of the hard panniers. The bottle does not move and is easily accessible when needed.
