You may not know that X-ADV is Honda’s best-selling motorcycle in Europe this year. Honda certainly knows, and that led to the 2022 Honda ADV350 Adventure Scooter. America isn’t getting the X-ADV even though we have ADV150. Now there is something in between and we hope that the ADV350 and X-ADV can be delivered to our shores soon. In the meantime, let’s take a look at the ADV350 and what it has to offer to the world of adventure riding.
- The 2022 Honda ADV350 is powered by a 330 cc single with 29 hp. This peak comes at 7500 RPM with the torque peak reaching 23 ft-lbs at 5250 RPM. A fully automatic CVT allows easy access to the power of the four-valve engine. In addition, the ADV350 has a two-stage Honda Selectable Torque Control to prevent the rear wheel from breaking traction when accelerating and decelerating.
- The inverted fork is not adjustable, while the double piggyback shock absorbers are spring preloaded.
- With a fuel tank larger than three gallons and fuel economy of 69 mpg, you can cover up to 200 miles between refuelings.
- The 15/14 inch wheel combination is equipped with rubber suitable for off-road use. However, we are not sure about the tire brand.
- The ground clearance is 5.7 inches so you should stay on improved dirt roads.
- There are disc brakes on each wheel. Two-channel ABS is standard.
- Touring riders will appreciate the four-stage windshield with an adjustment range of over five inches.
- Two full-face helmets fit in the storage space under the seat. The total storage capacity under the seat is 48 liters. A Smart Topbox variant is available for additional loading capacity. The Smart Topbox unlocks automatically with the Smart Key of the ADV350.
- The LCD dash connects to your smartphone and has voice control functions.
- A USB Type-C plug in the glove compartment charges compatible smartphones quickly.
- We don’t have a price for the 2022 Honda ADV350. As mentioned at the beginning, we don’t know if this adventure scooter will make it to the US, but it would be a great companion for the ADV150 while we wait for the X-ADV.
